The Story of Latte, the Thinker (1)

Latte was picked to show the two Moms...
FaFa and Vita gave birth to seven kittens on the same day in our garage. They moved the kittens away to our neighbor but the kittens were then brought back to us by the Management Office in a box.  The two mothers were very worried when they could not find their kittens.  I took Latte out from the box and tried to calm the mothers down.  Latte were checked by the two mothers in and out before both of them settled down.

Latte is also the one who the two mother cats care most... When the two mothers found that they might be at risk, Latte was the first one the two mothers tried to pick up and carry away...

A lady called Cindy would like to adopt Latte when she saw Latte's photo. However, we hated to see him live alone and we decided to keep him together with Milky and Felix.

Found Five New Kittens... Part IV: Dad

The story will never be completed without telling you what happened to the kittens' Daddy...  Wonkie.

Wonkie is Mom's son who was first found in our place last June...

Full of Curiosity
Handsome Boy

He was the only boy and he knew how to take care of his Mom and sisters...

King of the Family

Unfortunately, in the Cats World, mother and son, brother and sister can get together and have babies...  As a result, we've had seven kittens from FaFa and Vita, two kittens from Mom in April, and now five kittens from Mom...

Even though we got all three female cats spayed, its better to get Wonkie castrated.

We trapped Wonkie on Tuesday morning...

Poor Wonkie

Don't know what to do...

Yesterday, Wonkie was back after the operation... still handsome and energetic...  Good luck Wonkie!!!  You are always the King of the Cats here in our place...

Found Five New Kittens... Part III: The Other Four

Catching the kittens was not as easy as we thought...  They had been following their Mom ever since they were born. Now their Mom was caught and they had no one to follow... The poor kittens were hungry but they were very cautious.

Kittens usually are light and they might not be easy to catch by the trapper.  So we used the normal cage with rope and tried to close the door once they were in... We got two the first night...

Two Caught

They were so hungry and frightened... but not very friendly.

We had to catch the remaining two before Mom came back... We act again the following night...

These two were very tricky...  We did catch them the first night but they ran away faster than we could act!

We did not use the normal cage this time.  We tried the trapper again... After several trials, we got one...

Hungry and Frightened

Two hours later...  we caught the final one.  We were exhausted but mission achieved.

These poor darlings had been suffered a lot...

Very Cautious

Stayed Together

Frustrated

Still Hungry

When Mom was brought back at night, we had to say goodbye to these poor babies.  They are all lovely darlings... We wish all of them will have a home sweet home very soon...:)

Found Five New Kittens... Part II: Mom

Mom is the origin of all these kittens in our place...  We first met her in December 2011.  She was just a pretty kitten left by her owner who moved out from our complex...

First time we met - December 2011

Since then, she gave birth at least 4 times...  First time, we had Wonkie and FaFa.  Second time, she had five kittens, but only Vita survived. Third time, we got Wonkzai and Takzai... This is the fourth time... She got five.  I don't know how she can continue to give birth if we don't catch her and help her to control...

Baby Takzai and Wonkzai
I know its not easy but we have to try...

Given that she doesn't stay in our garage, we have to seek our neighbor's approval before we can go there to catch her. Our neighbor was out of town and we had to get management office to help us out.  Finally, we got the approval and tried to trap Mom last Tuesday (9/3/2013).

We found her and she was very hungry...  She recognised us and she was not very cautious.  We caught her immediately...

Poor Mom was caught...  She was sooo hungry that she finished the food inside the cage.

The next morning when we tried to move her to a smaller cage...  She was very angry.  We had no choice but used this cage to bring her to SPCA...

Angry Look

Stay Cool and Persevere

Mom came back the next day after the operation...  She looks okay with good appetite and can run very fast...  Good luck to your new life, Mom!!!

Found Five New Kittens... Part I: The Easy Catch!

One early morning, our maid told me that she found five kittens in our garage again and some of them might hide inside my husband's car... They are from Mom...

In the evening, my husband tried to drive away the car so that we could reserve some space for the kittens to play around.  Unfortunately, the kittens all ran away...  I caught one but he was so scare that I let him go. Mom came in and feed him...

The next day, our maid told us that there was a kitten trapped inside the car and she caught him...

This little kitten was so frightened and cried all day long. However, when we touched his forehead, he enjoyed very much.

We gave him a good bath and manicure in the next morning and he is just a darling...

First Bath

Thanks...

I'm Clean...

Am I Handsome?

Very Comfortable

We brought him in our house...  However, our three kittens didn't quite like him...  Poor baby!

You don't like me!

Latte - Very Alert

I better escape...:(

Don't hit me Milky

When Manda, the Volunteer came to help us to catch Mom and other kittens, we had to say goodbye to this little darling...  Goodbye and wish you have a home sweet home very soon...:)

Growing In Door... Toys and Fun

The kittens have a lot of fun with their toys...  Some of these toys are newly bought for them.  Some inherit from Dicky. Some are home made...

Happy Face

Milky tried to catch the ball...  Felix would like to be the model!

Milky got the Duck

Latte likes my slipper

This heater box became their first playground...  They can sleep on it, hide-and-seek around it, resting inside or outside, and use it as the viewing platform...

Sleeping together

Colorful shopping bag is also their favorite...

Milky wants to get in...

Hey, its mine!

No, its all of us!

This is Dicky's bag...

How can we get in?
