Naughty boy visiting us this morning...

During past months, we found another cat staying around our area...  He comes for food every morning and fights with Toffee and our three mother cats from time to time.

He visited us this morning again...  He found us in the garden and ran away quickly. 

Since he is so naughty, we will name him Naughty...:)

Visiting Toffee again after three months...

Very excited to visit Toffee on September 22.  Was there before 9 in the morning! Toffee hid himself in the cabinet...

Who are you?

Looked like he didn't recognize me...  I took him out and tried to calm him down.  He was a bit timid and he tried to run away!

A bit confused...  poor baby!

Finally we calmed him down and took him back to his cage...  The problem is that the two cats in the house do not get along.  Siu Fa who has been there for 12 years is jealous...

Have to pray for these two cats...  Hope they can get along soon!

Toffee has a new home...

Thank you Lord...  Vivian, one of the members of the Cat Lover group in Facebook, heard about Toffee's story and she would like to adopt him.  On June 19, Vivian came and picked Toffee up...

Felix:  Bye, Uncle Toffee!

In the morning of June 24, Vivian told us that Toffee escaped... Oh my goodness, we were so worried.  My husband was not in Hong Kong and fortunately our friend PY could drive us to Vivian's place to see how we could help.  Vivian visited most of her neighbors to see if Toffee was there; told everybody she met about the key feature of Toffee; developed two posters and stick them all around the neighborhood. I posted a notice in Facebook and I also asked other cat volunteer for help...  We all prayed for the safety of Toffee, our baby!

Lord listened to our prayer...  After two days, Vivian's neighbor brought Toffee back...:)

Toffee was caught!

One afternoon in May I got a call from our Management Office telling me one of our neighbors was not happy with the street cats living around our area.  The complaint was that those cats playing around their cars left footprints on their cars.  The neighbor insisted the Management Office to call the Hong Kong AFC related department to catch all those cats.  Knowing that these cats once caught will either be killed or be mistreated, I told the Management Office to call me if any cat was caught...

On May 13 afternoon, the guy called and I found our baby Toffee was caught in the cage...

I immediately asked the guy to bring Toffee to my garage, place him in a larger cage so that he can walk around...

The cage was still limited in case more cats were caught, I called my friend PY knowing that she had a bigger cage.  She borrowed her so that Toffee has three storeys to move around...

 Poor Toffee was very confused...  He didn't know what's going on...  Poor boy!!!

What will my future be... I wonder!

Found Five New Kittens... Part V: The Missing One

We thought we caught all five last September...  Yes, we did.  However, we missed one.  There should be six kittens. After three months, we found this kitten running around our backyard...

This little guy was so fat that we thought she was a girl and was pregnant... We called Manda, the volunteer, again and asked for help... She came and we caught him...  Good that he is a boy.  After the operation, he was brought back to our place...

He stays in our garage together with Mom, FaFa and Vita...  He took Wonkie's place.  We haven't seen Wonkie since early January and we don't know where he is...  We miss Wonkie...
